The Problem With 'More Is Better'
One of the biggest myths in fitness is that training more automatically means better results. In reality, quality beats quantity every time.
Mistake 1: Skipping the Warm-Up
A proper warm-up activates your muscles, lubricates your joints, and primes your nervous system. Spend 10 minutes on mobility and light activation before every session.
Mistake 2: Ignoring Progressive Overload
If you're lifting the same weights week after week, your body has no reason to change. Gradually increase weight, reps, or sets over time.
Mistake 3: Poor Form for Heavy Weight
Ego lifting leads to injuries. Master the movement pattern with lighter loads before adding weight. Physiotherapy costs far more than patience.
Mistake 4: No Rest Days
Muscle is built during recovery, not during training. Schedule at least 1–2 full rest days per week.
Mistake 5: Inconsistency
3 perfect weeks followed by 2 weeks off is worse than 5 average weeks in a row. Show up consistently, even on the days you don't feel like it.
The Fix
Track your workouts, focus on form, and trust the process. Slow and steady wins the transformation.
